NFL Game Of The Week: Cincinnati Bengals Vs. Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl LVI

The AFC champion Bengals will travel to SoFi stadium on 2/13 to take on the NFC champion Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI. The Rams lost to New England in their last Super Bowl appearance in 2020, while the Bengals will be returning to the title game for the first time since losing to San Francisco in 1989. The Rams will be the second team in NFL history to host the Super Bowl in their home season, following last season's Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay.  The Bengals rallied from a 18-point deficit (tying the record for biggest comeback in an AFC Championship) to take down defending AFC champion Kansas City 27-24 on Sunday for their first playoff win since 1990. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow completed 23-of-38 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns with one interception, and rookie kicker Evan McPherson hit a 31-yard field goal with 9:22 left in overtime to seal the win. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw three touchdown passes, but Cincinnati's defense also intercepted hi

NFL Game Of The Week: San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams

The 49ers will continue their improbable playoff run when the visit the Rams at SoFi Sunday in the NFC Championship game. San Francisco beat Green Bay on a 45-yard Robbie Gould field goal as time expired on Saturday night, while Los Angles nearly blew a 25-point lead but hung on to knock off the defending champion Bucs on Sunday.  The 49ers didn't score an offensive touchdown against Green Bay, but held the Packers to 67 yards rushing, managed both a blocked field-goal and a blocked punt, and scored 10 unanswered points in the last five minutes en-route to the 17th conference championship appearance in team history. They'll now face a Rams team they have beaten in six of their last six meetings, including two games this season.  49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo's stats were not incredible Sunday. He completed 11-of-19 passes for 131 yards with no touchdowns with an interception while being sacked four times. But he completed his last four passes of the game for 56 yards, h

NFL Game Of The Week: Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford got his first playoff win Monday night against Arizona, and will now have to face Tom Brady, a man with many playoff wins, and the Tampa Bay Bucs Sunday in Tampa Bay. The Bucs are continuing to deal with injury issues, but had no trouble getting past Philadelphia on Sunday to advance.  Stafford completed 13-of-17 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns and no interceptions in Los Angeles's 34-11 win over the Cardinals. The Rams quarterback finished the regular season with 4,886 passing yards and 41 touchdowns with 17 interceptions. Only Tom Brady threw more touchdowns, but nobody else finished with more interceptions. Stafford's 17 picks ended the season tied for last with Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence.  Stafford may be turnover prone, but he remains surrounded by enough receiving talent to make up for it. Cooper Kupp finished the regular season with 145 catches for 1,947 YDS and 15 touchdowns, leading the team and the league in touchdown

NFL Game Of The Week: Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Eagles will travel to Raymond James Stadium Sunday to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Bucs in a Wild Card Weekend matchup between two tough NFC East teams.  The Eagles started the year 2-5 but won eight of their last 10 to finish 9-8. In his first year as a starter, second-year quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 265 of 432 passes (61.3%) for 3,144 yards and 16 touchdowns with nine interceptions. Hurts finished in the bottom half of league QBs in several passing categories, including passing yards (21st), touchdown passes (23rd) and completion percentage (28th). The Eagles averaged 200.3 yards per game through the air, putting them at 26th in the league and the lowest of any playoff team.  So why is there reason for optimism in Philly? While Hurts is still clearly developing as a passer, he lead all quarterbacks in 2021 with 784 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns. Running back Miles Sanders (137 ATT, 754 YDS) Jordan Howard (86 ATT, 406 YDS, 3 TDS), Boston Scott (87 ATT, 373 YD

NFL Game Of The Week: Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders

It's win and you're in for both teams as the 9-7 Chargers head to Las Vegas to take on the 9-7 Raiders Sunday. LA holds the seventh spot in the AFC West, while the Raiders are clinging to the eighth. Both teams have struggled with consistency this season, and in the case of Las Vegas, major off-field troubles,  but have somehow held on and are still alive heading into this last week of the regular season.  Las Vegas earned their third straight win by beating Indianapolis 23-20 Sunday on a last-second field goal by Daniel Carlson. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw two interceptions but completed 24 of 31 passes for 255 yards and a touchdown in the win.  Carr has completed 408 of 590 passes (69.2%) with 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions this season. His career-high 4,690 passing yards are fourth in the league. Vegas' 274.7 yards per game though the air is sixth in the league and third in the AFC.   Hunter Renfrow (99 REC, 1,025 YDS, 7 TDS) has emerged as the Raiders leadi

NFL Game Of The Week: Houstan Texans at San Francisco 49ers

The 4-11 Texans will travel to Santa Clara Sunday to take on a banded up 49ers team that remains in the hunt for an NFC wildcard slot despite a costly loss to Tennessee on Thursday. Any temptation to take the Texans lightly should be tempered by their 41-29 win over the Chargers on Sunday. Texans quarterback Davis Mills completed 21 of 27 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns,  while running back Rex Burkhead ran for 149 yards and two scores in the win, Houston's second straight.  Mills has completed 219 0f 329 passes this season for 2,200 yards and 12 touchdowns with 9 interceptions. The rookie third-round pick stepped in early in the season after Tyrod Taylor suffered a hamstring injury in Week 2. Taylor, an eleven-year veteran who the Texans signed to a one -year contract this off-season, struggled upon his return, and Mils was named the official starter heading into Week 14. Brandin Cooks (80 REC, 945 YDS, 5 TDS) leads the team in receiving yards and touchdown receptions, but

NFL Game Of The Week: Indianapolis Colts at Arizona Cardinals

The 8-6 Colts will travel to the desert to take on the 10-4 Cardinals in a Christmas day battle featuring two AFC teams that are poised to make deep playoff runs. The Cardinals have lost two straight, including an almost unthinkable 30-12 defeat at the hands of Detroit on Sunday, while the Colts have won four of their last five.  Following a Week 5 loss to the Ravens the Colts were 1-4 and looked like one of the worst teams in the league. They've gone 7-2 since and have a shot to overtake Tennessee and win the AFC South. Colts QB Carson Wentz has completed 271 of 432 passes for 3,005 yards with 23 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Wentz's 3,005 passing yards have him at a pedestrian 19th amongst quarterbacks, but his 23 touchdowns are good for 10th. His six picks are among the lowest of QBs who have attempted at least 300 passes this season.  Michael Pittman Jr. (68 REC, 889 YDS, 5 TDS) leads the Colts' receivers in yards and touchdown catches, and their ground attack
